Torque converter type is located on front side of converter itself. Manufacturer is FITCHEL and SACHS. Locking speed is about 2200rpm, dia. 330mm and torque multiplication is 2.13.

Oil should be Dexron II class, original oil is sugested TOTAL DEXRON D 20-356. Total oil capacity is about 6.5L but in common oil replacement you can change only 2.5 max 3L. This is why exchanging oil in in automatic gearbox is so important.
It is IMPORTANT that oil level is checked when gearbox oil is hot - about 80'C and engine running. It is good to make 20minutes ride to be sure that oil is hot and there is enought oil in torque converter.
Note: my experience is that you can check the oil level with selector lever in position P and then in position A ( hand brake aplied, or someone else is standing on the brake ). In both lever position should be oil level higher then minimum oil level on disptick.

Towing: you can tow bx with automatic gearbox, but: lever in position N, do not drive over 50km and over 50km/hour speed and add another liter of oil into gear box. This oil must be removed after vehicle is fixed.
